Shalom's Creed With Charles XVI: It May Not Be Good To Me But It Is Good For Me.

Putting ourselves under discipline is one of the most difficult things that could ever happen to us. We may give other people all the advice in the world – “study your books, be devoted to God, watch what you eat, work hard…” yet, we find it difficult to do what we tell others to do.

The Bible says that he that has self control is better than he that takes a city (Prov 16:32b). Discipline yourself based on an outcome you want to achieve.  This is to say there is a bigger picture. You work towards it by disciplining yourself. The goal may be to pass an exam – reading ten weeks earlier may not be easy but it will do you a lot of good.

The goal may be to develop a better relationship with God – praying while your mates are playing or reading your Bible while others are reading newspapers may not be easy but is necessary. You either choose to pay now and enjoy later or vice versa.

God is looking for disciplined people to commit projects unto. This is because if you are disciplined, you will be faithful. If you are faithful, you will succeed because failure doesn’t stop you from succeeding but unfaithfulness does. Get disciplined. There is a finish line; only the disciplined will get there. Remember, discipline may not be good to your body, but it is good for your soul.
Your Life is Great!
Much Love – Charles Okeke.

It's a moving train .......
