You would recall that the administration of Dr. Kayode Fayemi, removed the portrait from where it was, claiming the former Governor was never a Governor in Ekiti- State, Fayemi further stopped the benefits due to Segun Oni .
Dr. Peter Ayo Fayose remarked that it’s only God that has the right to enthrone and dethrone. He stated that his resolution is to do good to all men irrespective of their party, beliefs and differences.
Furthermore, he said that, he has no axe to grind with anyone. He said he recognises, acknowledges and appreciates Chief Segun Oni for his values, policies, goodwill and all his achievements in Ekiti. He said he had contributes his quota.
He said, all benefits due to him (Segun Oni) would be restored. He stated that Adebayo and Fayemi would also be paid their benefits in due course.
