SHALOM'S CREED: THE HOLY SPIRIT

Good Evening y’all, I felt the strong and urgent need to share this with you all…
The Holy Spirit is a personality, he is the third person in trinity, he is God the Holy Spirit and he works with God the Father and God the Son. He is a comforter, counsellor and teacher. Now here is the big question, as youths and young adults what is the relevance of this gentle friend to our lives?

*** The Holy Spirit is a teacher [John 14:26]
Recall what Christ said before ascending into heaven , he promised us a teacher in the holy spirit , who would teach all things and not just teaching us all things , but he would also put into our remembrance all what we had been taught…AWESOME!!!
***The Holy Spirit possesses all secrets [1 Cor 2:9-11]
The Holy Spirit is a spirit that possesses all secrets, he reveals even the secrets of God to us, and he is a revealer of the plans of the kingdom concerning our lives. He leads us, guides us, protects us and directs our paths towards righteousness; we abide in him and him in us.
The problem with most youths and young adults these days is that they lack the Holy Spirit, and those that even claim to have him, don’t give him full charge of their lives and those who do, a times don’t know when he is speaking to them. That why we still have questions like, how do I get a life partner? How do I make academic success? Amongst several other questions frequently asked by the younger generation.
I put it to you, that surviving in this crooked, perverse and corrupt generation of ours as a youth, teenager, adult, child and even aged might be such a difficult task without this unique, incomparable friend...ok ,it’s this simple, without Christ in your life, there would be no encounter with the Holy Spirit, although certain criteria’s are required before this Holy Spirit encounter. “He that hath clean hands, and a pure heart; who hath not lifted up his soul unto vanity, nor sworn deceitfully”. [Psalm 24:4].

Remember, “for as many as are led by the spirit of God, they are called the sons of God [Romans 8:14].
