Shalom's Creed with Charles XIII: Manage Your Mind.

A man is his thoughts and is inseparable from his thoughts. A man can never be greater than his thoughts.

Your outward personality is a product of the investment on your mind. Prov 23:7 says For as he (a man) thinketh in his heart, so is he. This goes to show that your thoughts make you.

Thoughts proceed from your heart, your mind which is your seat of wisdom. You therefore have to manage your mind to produce success. Don’t let your heart just breed any kind of thoughts. Don't allow wandering thoughts.

Manage your mind! If a negative thought comes your way, change it! You have that ability to control your mind. For example, if you have an exam and you are about to enter the hall in the next five minutes and there is this particular topic you’ve not read which you believe would be part of the compulsory question, let me tell you what would happen. You would cut off all distractions.

If useless thoughts or even good thoughts of other things say your home, a forthcoming vacation come up, you would cast them off and concentrate within those five minutes on the topic you are reading. This goes to show you have control over your mind.

Be careful what you watch and what you see and what you meditate on. Prov 4:23 says Keep (guard) thy heart with all diligence; for out of it are the issues of life. Whatever actions a man takes are as a result of his thoughts. It doesn’t matter if the action was premeditated or impulsive.

Finally, I wrap up with Phil 4:8 (TLB) Fix your thoughts on what is true and good and right. Think about things that are pure and lovely, and dwell on the fine, good things in others. Think about all you can praise God for and be glad about.
Your Life is great!
Much Love – Charles Okeke.
